This was for the Gnomon Workshop Image Challenge on facebook, and the theme was simply: The Upside Down. I wanted to expand upon the mythos of the Upside Down from Stranger Things, and use their same formula of taking an existing Dungeons & Dragons creature as a base and twisting it to fit this world. I chose Tiamat, the five-headed dragon goddess, and she is giving birth to new, twisted creatures to roam and haunt the Upside Down.
